Travel to Cape Point within the southern section of Table Mountain National Park on this 8-hour guided tour from Cape Town. In a small group of no more than six people, spend the day in Cape Point National Park. Admire fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean and False Bay before returning to Cape Town via the charming towns of False Bay.
Your tour begins with an 8:30am pickup from your centrally located Cape Town hotel. Greet your driver-guide, board the air-conditioned minivan, and relax on the journey out of the city.
The tour follows the Atlantic coastline, via Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak, and Noordhoek, into Cape Point National Park. Most of the day is spent in the park visiting the lighthouses and admiring sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and False Bay.
After visiting other attractions in the park, such as the Cape of Good Hope viewpoint (the most southwestern point of the continent), enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (at own expense).
Return to Cape Town via the False Bay towns: Simon's Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, and Muizenberg. The journey including the spectacular Boyes drive and, time permitting, a visit to a penguin colony.
Your tour concludes with a drop-off back at your hotel.
Please note: The tour runs in all weather conditions but Chapman's Peak may be closed in severe weather conditions, in which case the route will be changed accordingly. The walk up to the point will require moderate mobility but a funicular service between the parking area and the viewpoint under the lighthouse is available.
