At around 09h00 in the morning we depart from Cape Town and head for the Winelands of the Cape.
Arriving in Stellenbosch, capital city of South African wine, we walk through the historic parts of town on a guided tour. You will have time to explore on your own too. Stellenbosch is also a University Town and is affectionately know as the Oak Town. It is the oldest Town in South Africa. It boasts many historic buildings in the unique Cape Dutch style of architecture. As part of the Cape Winelands, the Stellenbosch Wine Routes are part of the six most popular tourist attractions in South Africa.
later in the morning we visit our first Wine Estate to indulge in the various tasting options.
After the first Wine Estate visit we travel to our next Wine Region, Fraschhoek Valley, where we stop at one of the local Restaurants for a local lunch option. Again you may enjoy wines from this region with your lunch. The town of Franschhoek is one of the big attractions of the winelands. The valley hosts many of the great restaurants of the Wine region.
In the afternoon we continue to the third Wine Esate in the region of Paarl for more food and wine pairing options.
After a full day of Food, Wine and scenic beauty we return to your hotel or pre-arranged destination.
